Wow, Margy...daffodils! It's obvious you're in BC and not Alberta. Nothing like that here yet, but my tulips are up although not yet flowering. When I go out with the dog (who still doesn't like going out alone) I like to look at all my trees with a shimmer of green coming through...hardly a real colour yet, but a promise.
ReplyDeleteWe are about two weeks later than normal for flowers and returning birds like our swallows. I hope to get my garden planted next week. - Margy
DeleteIllinois has been foggy and rainy lately; but noticed the sun came out Saturday and now again today. It was just enough sun to have the daffodils open. BC and Illinois must be in sink with each other with Spring. I even saw a robin today in the backyard.
ReplyDeleteI visited Chicago once maybe fifteen years ago. It was a summer trip so it was pretty sunny and warm, but I remember strong winds off the lake. - Margy
DeleteLove the spring flowers bravely growing on the hillside.

I need to get some more bulbs to put along there. There's only a big of soil and moss to hold them. I sprinkled marigold seeds there last fall hoping I'll get some summer colour. - Margy
DeleteSpring has sprung!!! Lovely spot to meander in!
ReplyDeleteIt is a beautiful spot, but the stairs go up four flights. That's where out outhouse used to be. Love having a composting toilet at the cabin now. - Margy
DeleteYaY SPRING!
ReplyDeleteI agree 100%
DeleteGrape hyacinths are so pretty - well, we're always glad to see spring flowers!
ReplyDeleteThat's for sure. - Margy
